Our Services
Process
- Mixing Raw Materials:The process begins by blending raw uPVC resin with pigments to achieve the desired color, such as white or black.
- Adding Reinforcements:For structural stability, steel reinforcement is often inserted into the profile.
- Melting the uPVC:The colored uPVC material is heated to a specific temperature (around 200-275°C) until it melts into a molten consistency.
- Forcing Through a Die:This molten uPVC is then forced under high pressure through a specially designed die.
- Shaping the Profile:The die gives the material its final shape, creating long, hollow profiles that form the basis of the roofline components.
- Rapid Cooling:The extruded profiles are quickly cooled, often in a water bath, to solidify the material and lock in the desired shape.
- Cutting to Size:Once cooled, the profiles are accurately cut to the lengths and angles required for the specific roofline components.
- Joining and Sealing:The cut profiles are then assembled into the final components. For windows, this involves bonding the corners and fitting seals, but for rooflines, the components are joined and secured in place.
- Surface Finishing:Surface treatments, such as lamination or painting, can be applied to enhance durability, color longevity, or to add a woodgrain effect if desired.
- Quality Control:The finished products undergo quality checks to ensure they meet stability and watertightness standards before they are ready for installation on a property.
